Parent Engagement Group (PEG)

St Mary’s has a long and rich history of an active and enthusiastic Parents & Friends Association (P&F). All parents/guardians of students are automatically members of the P&F and we invite you to be an active participant.

The primary objectives of the P&F are to:

  • contribute to the wellbeing of the school community – students, parents and staff
  • foster our shared responsibility as parents and teachers to act out of a positive mindset, which is enabling of learning
  • encourage the participation of all parents/carers in the life of their school and in the growth of a vibrant community where all are ready to serve.

Currently, in 2021, we are engaged in a process of reviewing our P&F structure, exploring an alternative model for parent and carer engagement – the Parent Engagement Group (PEG).  We extend an invitation to our community members to contribute to this review. All communication regarding the consultation meetings will be via our Newsletter.
