Landcare
On the 3rd of March, Mrs Murray, Mrs Piper and a group of teachers and students from 7-10 gathered in period 1 and 2, to help with Clean Up Australia and dispose of all the rubbish in and near Kennedy creek. They filled 3 wheelbarrows and extra bags with rubbish collected. Clean Up Australia supplied 4 types of biodegradable and recyclable bags for the proper disposal of the rubbish. Our students were also able to find some bottles and cans for Return-and-Earn.
Landcare is not only great for the environment but it is also great for building community and friendships. Many thanks to Mrs Murray, Mrs Piper and all the teachers and students who donated their time today to make our College a cleaner and healthier place!
